Receiving home medical care

Home-nursing services are provided to support home-care patients such as bedridden elderly at home and children with intractable diseases. Of those who receive home-visit nursing care, those who are not required to receive support for long-term care insurance or require long-term care (with exceptions) are eligible for medical insurance, and a "home-visit nursing care fee" is provided by health insurance.

Mechanism of home-visit nursing

If your doctor finds that your medical condition is stable and you need medical assistance or medical assistance at home, such as a nurse, you can receive home-visit nursing and nursing care services from a home-visit nursing station nurse.

Home-visit nursing care expenses

70% of the cost incurred by the insured as “home-visit nursing care expenses (in case of dependents, family home-visit nursing treatment expenses)” when receiving home-visit nursing care from a doctor or designated home-visit nursing business (80% of the general categories of elderly beneficiaries) will be paid.
The insured will be responsible for the actual costs of transportation such as nurses and special fees such as visits on holidays.

Health insurance association additional benefits The amount paid is ¥20,000 deducted from the self-pay amount (less than ¥1,000 is not paid. Rounded down to ¥100)
